The original KUS rudder position sensor (0–190 ohms characteristic curve) is the global standard for boats and yachts with conventional shaft systems, Z-drives, or stern thrusters. The sensor is mounted in the stern and is directly coupled to the rudder quadrant’s movement via a sturdy mechanical linkage. It converts the mechanical rudder angle into the European standard resistance range of 0 ohms to 190 ohms.
